This CT exam measures calcified plaque in the coronary arteries. Your clinician uses the result alongside other information to assess cardiovascular risk. Ask your clinician whether the exam is appropriate for you.
What to expect
You lie on the CT table while images of the heart are collected. A calcium score does not measure all types of plaque or rule out every heart condition.

Call to schedule the $100 exam, confirm referral requirements, and receive preparation instructions. This exam is performed in Suite 202 upstairs.
